Rev. Thomas N.T.C. Ammah serves as the Director of Evangelism and Missions for the Ghana Baptist Convention. Born on March 7, 1962, Rev. Ammah dedicated his life to Christ in 1976 during his secondary school years. Since that transformative moment, he has faithfully and actively served the Lord, making significant contributions to the ministry.
Rev. Ammah is a visionary, goal-oriented, and self-motivated minister, known for his affable nature and strong leadership qualities. He brings a wealth of experience and academic training in Pastoral Ministry, Applied Theology, Organizational Leadership, and Development. He is highly skilled in interpersonal communication and event coordination, and he is a pleasant and teachable individual with a deep love for people. Rev. Ammah is an effective team player, committed to both the collective and personal goals of the ministry.
His educational journey includes attending Ghana Secondary Technical School in Takoradi, and Tema Secondary School. He then pursued a B.A. in Christian Ministries at the Ghana Christian University College. Furthering his education, he earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Theology from Spurgeon College/University of Wales, a Master of Arts in Ministry from Ghana Baptist University College, and a Doctorate in Theology from the International Christian University.
Rev. Ammah has a rich history of pastoral work, teaching in several Bible colleges and seminaries. Notably, he played a pivotal role in establishing the Northern Ghana Baptist Theological Seminary in Tamale. With over 40 years of experience in missions, he has made a lasting impact in various areas of ministry.
Since 2006, Rev. Ammah has been instrumental in establishing and managing the Northeastern Missions Field, focusing on Church Planting, and the training of ministers and church leaders. His efforts have contributed to the planting of over 180 churches in the region.
Rev. Ammah is married to Stella Ammah, and they are blessed with four adult children. His dedication to his family and ministry continues to inspire many in the Christian community.
